Decolonial Approaches to Healing Oppression

In this presentation Dr. Chavez-Dueñas will be discussing her exciting research and scholarship which centers on immigration, culture, and race in psychology. She will introduce the Race and Cultural Equity Lab (IC-RACE) lab which focuses on developing models, programs, and interventions that are designed to promote and support psychological wellness within different Communities of Color. Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about approaches to healing specifically designed by and for Communities of Color.
