Biography

Timothy D. Holley, DHSc, MSIE(c), MSOT, OTR/L, BMS, CEAS

Dr. Timothy D. Holley is a registered and licensed occupational therapist, educator, and healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience spanning academia, rehabilitation management, and clinical innovation. His interdisciplinary work integrates health science, human factors/ergonomics, and systems engineering principles to advance occupational therapy education and practice within diverse healthcare and academic environments.

Dr. Holley earned his Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) from Nova Southeastern University and his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has held multiple academic leadership positions, including Program Director at Trinity Washington University and Associate Professor and Visiting Scholar at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In these roles, he led program development, accreditation efforts, and initiatives promoting innovation, research, and student success.

A Certified Biomechanics Specialist (BMS) and Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS), Dr. Holley maintains active professional memberships with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), and International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
